Some people are just so full of themselves on Thursday, January 02, 2014 //

I need to vent. I was alr dreading work even though it's the first work day of the new year. There isnt any difference if it's 2013 or 2014 actl. I have this colleague, shall not name his race. Each time he talks to me, he would "advise" me on how I should work overseas, migrate to Australia, climb the corporate ladder, study masters, not get married early, spend more time with more interesting friends rather than sleeping, keep talking about future possible salary increments, how buying insurance is waste of money, etc etc. Too many disagreements that I can have with him. Like seriously, I have told him many times that different ppl have different goals and perceptions abot their own lives, you can't just give advices to others and expect them to say 'ya, I agree, I should do that'. If you give advice, and the other party says 'nah, I'll see. Or I dont think I would do that', just shut your f-ing mouth and end the topic. Not go on and on about how I should change myself. I want to work a job that I love, be it lower salary or no future prospects. At least I go to office smiling, not dragging my feet like now. And if sg is that horrible a country or expensive to live in, why are you here? Get the f off sg. Without you, I'll be even more valuable. Can't believe how highly you think of yourself. I like to sleep my free time away. My friends are interesting enough for me. I love being alone. I dont have to be accompanied all the time. Seriously, tsk. Im not even your wife for you to insist on changing myself. I love the current me.

Done ranting. Im gonna avoid talking to him from today onwards. Not an impt colleague to have no matter how high post he is.
