Small world on Friday, August 30, 2013 //

My role model is the brother of someone who caused a scar in my life. How small the world is. She might not be a good person but her brother is. Come from same factory but so different.

Found a role model on Friday, August 23, 2013 //

Met a Singaporean guy in Telepark office today. I knew him beforehand and being the usual me, I have never approach and start a conversation. He did this morning. What amazes me is how he is able to carry out so well and makes ppl feel comfortable talking to him, even on the first time. He went on talking to more ppl in the office. Other ppl felt the same way.  I just feel this is the way to network. And not have those formal networking sessions and expect us to form a bond with those ppl there. How to? It's just too fake. To me at least.

Away from home and comfort on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 //

Actl I realise that it's gonna be my first time traveling for 4 weeks. Have never gone out of singapore for that long. Plus, without family. I was too comfortable in my comfort zone that I don't mind not going for exchange to have my family and friends around. Excluding the fact that I didn't have any money either. I'm usually the one sending people off. I was so excited for past month about this trip. I can't say that i'm going to be independent and sleep in my own room and wash my own clothes. I've done them all in NTU hall. Or maybe the anxious feeling about visiting a country so far away, and taking 13hours flight with 3 guys whom I barely knew for 5 weeks. The uncertainty of what would happen, where would I stay, who will my roomie be, will I fail my exam, etc etc. Most of them are foreigners and singaporeans in my group either studied in uk or did exchange over there alr. I'm the only suaku.

Put worries aside. I will enjoy myself :)

Hide and Seek on Thursday, August 15, 2013 //

We're playing a game of hide and seek. Or is relationship supposed to be one where we don't have to know every different things our partner does everyday. I would like to hear and not seek. Or maybe I should not reveal every single bit of my daily life either.
