i got myself a job!(: i've finally decided to settle down, stop playing and start feeding myself. it's HR admin work at Singtel. 'Singtel' was the great thing that attracted me :D i'm gonna eye on those phones! even if they don't give me one, they should have staff price. it's time for me to change a new hp(:
the interview was one whole hour long! the interviewer asked me so many questions to the point that the relaxed elis became tensed-up elis. and the most unexpected questions were 'why do you pick up bowling? is bowling your only interest? why no other interests? are you in national team? why did not go to sports school?' my hidden thoughts were 'is this dsa or job interview?' kind of ridiculous right? haha oh well. that's not the worst part. it's when she gave me two worksheets to type out in excel and word. she wanted to see how fast and well i can type. my hands were practically shivering! in addition of her tiny laptop, it was so difficult to type! and luckily i practised summation in excel, or i won't be able to do it! phew.
i feel so guilty after lying all those crap to make myself sound like the best person she can ever find. but i'm glad she shortlisted me(: i must say that working is so tough! you have to put on a smile all day, unlike school where you can just show your black face to the teachers. haha
for my friends' info, i'm starting work on this tuesday. fast eh? it will be from 830am to 6pm at somerset. i will still find some time out to catch up with you guys! such as dinners? haha loveee!
