ubin trip on Tuesday, May 27, 2008 //
today was 'class' outing day to ubin for some cycling. elis went there with lots of anticipation and excitement, cause she has never been there except for obs. heard stories about people falling down, being chased by wild boars. luckily we didn't meet any wild boars, but had quite a few accidents.

before starting the bike trailyunhui fell into the wild boar pit. shirlyn almost rolled down the slope. fangyun almost fall while going up those damn steep slopes. elis act adventurous and tried the whatever area which has tons of up and down slopes. upon the last down slope, there was a bend. elis had the sudden idea that she was driving nfs car, trying to press the break, turn the bike and so called 'drift'. guess what? she failed! and fell flat on her left body. as a result, she was partially covered with yucky mud and scratched her knee and elbow. she saw blood oozing out and did not know what to do. so, she sat there and whine in pain. here comes the rescue of her friends, who made her feel like a princess. pam provided with water and tissue to wash my wound and body, samuel cleaned me up and my wound, zhihao cleaned my bag till it doesn't seem to be dirty minutes ago, fangyun as first aider said it looked fine, qinkai pressed my wound with tissue (to apply pressure), yunhui and shirlyn asked if i'm alright, minyoung lent me his cap as the sun was scorching. while elis sat there and watched. haha love you classmates!(: oh, and those times when they helped me push my bike up. haha i'm such a useless bum. had no choice but to continue cycling. it wasn't really painful after some time, maybe it was numb alr.
went several places, in total, it seems to be almost the whole pulau ubin, did we? haha and took lots of photos! thankyou fy and yh for your pretty cameras!(: and more from the mia minyoung's. (more photos can be seen from yh's blog)

half way through journey
on some shaky rooftop after climbing up 120 stairson the way back from chek jawa, grey clouds overcast the sky. we walked quickly back to our bikes and cycled as quickly as possible back to the front. rain started to pour heavier and heavier till my eyes couldn't even open. not forgetting, it was 2km of chionging under the ultimate rain. i was totally drenched inside out. haha but it was fun! i get to wash my muddy fbt under the rain. haha we then walked back to the jetty.

back at the jetty and dripping wetdespite my painful injury that i'm still complaining of now, i enjoyed myself thoroughly! this is the best class outing ever! hahaha loveeee(:
